I didn’t leave corporate life to recreate burnout in a different outfit. But six months in, I was working longer hours than ever stuck to my screen, somehow further from the life I wanted.
I came to WA for what I thought would be a quick break. That trip shifted everything.
Between the beach walks and the long winery lunches, I realised I’d built something that didn’t leave any space for me.
I wasn’t enjoying the freedom I thought I’d created.
I wasn’t resting, exploring, or doing anything that lit me up.
I didn’t even know what I liked anymore. Just what I had to keep ticking off.
That trip didn’t give me clarity, exactly but it gave me space to notice what I’d been missing.
I started doing things differently. I stopped measuring success in hours worked or boxes ticked.
I gave myself permission to build something slower, smarter and more supportive.
That’s what ZLM does now — for other founders, too.
For the half-finished email drafts.
The workflows that never quite flow.
The tools you keep meaning to fix.
The voice you’re still trying to find in your own content.
It’s the stuff that sits at the bottom of your list: until I sort it for you.
Think of it as practical magic:
Clean, custom setups that take the weight off and give you space to think.
So you’ve got more time for the things (and people) you love.
I used to build brand campaigns for some of the biggest names in the world. Now I live by the sea in WA, make pasta from scratch, and help founders feel less overwhelmed by the back end of their business.
I get a kick out of turning chaos into clarity, especially when tech is involved. Bots, workflows, systems that feel more like teammates than tools.
I love pop culture deep-dives, obscure trivia, and a well-stocked pantry. If I’m not working, I’m probably at a wine tasting, rewatching early 2000s films, or planning a meal around one perfect potato.
I like things that work well and feel good and I like helping people build businesses that do both.
If we work together, it won’t feel like work. It’ll feel like momentum. And maybe a well-earned glass of rosé at the end.
(that have absolutely nothing to do with automations)
I cook like a nonna with something to prove
From slow-cooked sauces to handmade dough, the kitchen is my happy place and love language.
I have a scary-good memory for pop culture
Award shows, 2000s lyrics, movie trivia — my brain’s a vault of fun facts and niche references.
Magic lives in the little things
Whether it’s a wildflower on a coastal walk or how you sign off your emails — that’s where the magic lives.
I’m always up for a tasting
Especially when there’s a story behind the wine, a rosé in the mix, and a sunset not far off.
